The MSG has periodically arranged conferences and published the papers that were presented, as well as holding occasional meetings at large conferences such as the Association of Asian Studies and the Annual Conference on South Asia held in Madison, Wisconsin. The group also promotes the biannual International Conference on Maharashtra, and many members regularly participate. A partial list of past events, based on available records, is given below. We welcome information that could fill out these lists further.
